Dr. George Atanasoff
President
Dr. George Atanasoff is a well recognized name in academia and optical industry as a pioneer, innovator, team builder and engineering manager. He started his career as professor in Physics and later held different senior and management positions in cutting edge industries such as thin films, fiber optics, lasers, telecom, and product reliability at Ciena, DiCon Fiberoptics, MET Labs and others. AccuStrata's technology is based on his patents. He received his PhD in Physics from Sofia University (Bulgaria).
Dr. Jonathan Streets
Systems Integration
Senior level software architect/engineer and physicist with both management and hands-on experience working on ground-breaking projects in cutting edge technology companies, startups and national laboratories. 20 years experience in group leadership roles managing all parts of the software cycle, including application software building, distribution and remote installation. Jon worked as research fellow at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, Group leader at Fermi Lab in Batavia, IL and software developer at Lucent Technologies. For the last 10 years prior to joining AccuStrata he was a software director at Circadiant, which was acquired by JDS Uniphase. He joined AccuStrata in January 2011. Dr. Streets has a MA from Oxford University, UK and PhD in Physics from University of Birmingham, UK. He is also an adjunct professor in Physics and the University of Maryland
Dr. Marc Epstein is supporting AccuStrata as Chairman of the Board -. He has been a technology innovator and entrepreneur since 1978. He has started and is currently managing a number of successful companies such as Acquired Data Solutions, EnvirolyteUSA and Terriss Consolidated Industries. He shares a number of patents in the area of metrology and process control. He has a BA from Rutgers College and PhD from University of North Carolina Chappell Hill.
Dr. Bruce Craig serves as a company advisor. He has over 30 years of experience in general management, business development, engineering/research, sales/marketing in the broad-based photonics sector. He was former President of Spectra-Physics and has held executive management positions at Thermo Electron and Newport Corporation. He is currently Founder and President of BBC LG Consulting. Dr. Craig received his Ph.D. in physical sciences from Manchester University (UK) and held post doctoral and staff positions at the University of Texas and Georgetown University .
