AccuStrata offers its patented real-time, intelligent process
control in the manufacturing of next-generation multilayer
thin films.
Our process control system uses miniature fiber optics or
wireless optical sensors, installed at specific points within
the manufacturing equipment, without disturbing the
manufacturing process. The optical sensors can be
configured to perform photometric, ellipsometric or near
field optical monitoring. The control system detects and
corrects in real time minor deviations (errors) from the
pre-designed coating structure or design formula. Most of
these errors would remain unnoticed by traditional process
control systems until their magnitude or number increase
beyond correction and the sample is rejected.
AccuStrata does not replace the existing control systems
already installed by the equipment manufacturer. We add
another layer of control capability which is able to conquer
large portion of the last 8-12% of the manufacturing yield,
usually considered a reject by the product manufacturers.
